Normally, construction & decoration aluminum profile is a deformed aluminum alloy that used for rolling into sheets, foils, strips, and extruded into rods, tubes or profiles of various complicated shapes. Moreover, pure aluminum has low strength and its use is limited. However, by adding a small amount of one or several alloying elements such as magnesium, silicon, manganese, copper, zinc, iron, chromium, titanium, etc., aluminum alloys having different properties can be obtained. The aluminum profile is further strengthened and hardened by cold working and heat treatment, after that its tensile strength is greatly improved. After these produces, the aluminum profile is suitable in construction & decoration.
>The biggest characteristic of aluminum alloy is that its bulk density is about 1/3 of steel, and the specific strength (ratio of strength limit to specific gravity) can reach or exceed structural steel.
